Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and HireInterviewAI ("we", "us"). By creating an account, accessing the platform, or taking an interview, you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into them on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The service

HireInterviewAI provides live, adaptive, proctored AI technical interviews — voice, an in-browser code editor, and chat — and produces per-concept skill reports across engineering domains. The platform is provided on a software-as-a-service basis and may evolve over time. We may add, change, or remove features.

3. Accounts & eligibility

Organization accounts are provisioned by us following a demo request; there is no public self-serve signup for hiring organizations. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and use the platform only for lawful hiring purposes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful, discriminatory, or deceptive purpose
• Attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent security, tenant isolation, or access controls
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service except as the law expressly permits
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
• Misuse candidate data or the evidence trail in violation of applicable law

5. Candidate consent (hiring-organization responsibility)

Interviews capture candidate evidence — transcripts, submitted code, voice/audio, screen recordings, and proctoring signals. The hiring organization is responsible for obtaining all required notices and consents from candidates before inviting them to an interview, and for using the resulting data lawfully. We process candidate data as a processor on the organization's behalf and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Billing

HireInterviewAI is prepaid and pay-per-interview. You top up an organization wallet, and each interview draws from that balance; the price scales with interview length. There is no subscription and no per-seat fee. Payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) by our payment provider, Razorpay. Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law. Taxes are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the platform, including its software, models, prompts, designs, and brand. You retain rights in the content you submit (e.g. role configuration) and in candidate data, for which the hiring organization is the controller. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform during your subscription to it, subject to these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". AI evaluations are decision-support signals to help hiring teams, not a guarantee of a candidate's performance or fitness, and they must not be the sole basis for an employment decision. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the platform ends; data handling after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy and any applicable data-processing terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product and our obligations evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
